Damon Burrell thus joined Estée Lauder on April 11, 2016 as Senior Vice President, Consumer Engagement. Mr. Burrell will report to Georgia Garinois-Melenikiotou, Executive Vice President, Corporate Marketing.

Mr. Burrell’s appointment will help drive the group’s evolution in today’s digital-first world,” explains the company. “Mr. Burrell will be responsible for continuing to advance the Company’s consumer engagement capabilities to further enable seamless consumer experiences across all touch points and channels.

With nearly 20 years of experience across a diverse array of marketing capabilities, Mr. Burrell is well known as an early adopter and leader in digital and social media. His career has spanned consumer engagement, digital/social media, consumer relationship management, marketing strategy and marketing operations. Most recently, as Senior Vice President, 360 Marketing at Viacom, he led all consumer engagement for Nickelodeon’s media and consumer product assets.

In addition, Anna Klein has been appointed Vice President, Corporate Affairs, effective July 1, 2016. Ms. Klein will continue to report to Alexandra C. Trower, Executive Vice President, Global Communications.

As the company continues to grow internationally, and with more than 60 per cent of sales generated outside the U.S., there is a growing need to enhance strategic communications globally,” adds the group.
