Beraca launches sensorial panel of natural oils

The Brazilian supplier of natural cosmetic ingredients has developed a sensorial analysis tool in order to help chemists find the ideal ingredient for their formulas.

Recognized globally as the reference in sustainable development, and the largest supplier of naturally-sourced ingredients from Brazil’s rich biodiversity to the cosmetis, pharmaceutical and personal care industries, Beraca is now preparing for the launch of a Sensorial Panel of Natural Oils, with all the technical and sensory properties for the different oils in its portfolio.

The idea behind this tool is to assist chemists in finding the best ingredient according to their needs when formulating a new product, and also in accordance to the current Market demands towards natural and sustainable ingredients.

The panel will provide detailed information on the plant from which are derived the ingredients of Beraca’s portfolio, including the plants’ technical profile, the active ingredients, the suggested uses and the results of sensory tests performed by specialized laboratories.

Our goal is to establish a production chain with cleaner and greener technologies, geared towards the development of bioactives, mainly created from recovered residues and biomass. This is an investment combining technology and nature, always focusing on solutions that will match sustainability with cosmetic performance,” explains Daniel Sabará, CEO.
