According to Beautycare Brazil, 2015 was a very busy year in numerous international markets. Throughout the year, Beautycare Brazil held trade promotion meetings in 11 countries (Angola, China, South Korea, United Arab Emirates, Spain, United States, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Mexico and Thailand). The sectorial program also participated in 7 international exhibitions (Cosmoprof Bologna, in-Cosmetics Barcelona, in-Cosmetics Korea, Beautyworld Middle East, Cosmoprof North America, in-Cosmetics Asia and Cosmoprof Asia), as well as other events such as road shows, buyer projects, training workshops and business meetings.

These initiatives, which totalized 446 participating companies, are estimated to generate US$ 42 million in sales within the next 12 months.

"As the main tool to support exports and the internationalization of the sector, we carried out an intense agenda of actions in 2015 with the aim to bring the Brazilian personal care industry in countries with great commercial potential. This is a never-ending work and we have already planned to scale it up in 2016," explains Gueisa Silverio, Manager of Beautycare Brazil.
