Beraca introduces an organic skin lightening and anti-ageing active

The latest global launch of Brazilian company Beraca is a 100% natural and organic certified reducer of melanin synthesis that also stimulates the production of proteins such as collagen and hyaluronic acid.

As a skin lightener, Beracare BBA can be used as a natural replacement for alpha-arbutin, thus helping to diminish the appearance of age spots, to even out the skin’s tone and to restore its original glow. The Beraca ingredient helps reduce melanin synthesis, diminishing the appearance of age spots on the skin, evening out the tone and restoring the skin’s original glow. Researches showed a substantial reduction in the melanin formation process in tests using UV rays: -21% in the melanin synthesis when applied in a proportion of 3% and -40% when applied at 10%.

As anti-ageing active, Beracare BBA stimulates the production of hyaluronic acid, a natural polysaccharide present in human skin which has a great capacity to retain water, thereby making the skin elastic and younger looking. The study showed an increase of 119% and 110% of hyaluronic acid in the dermis when Beracare BBA was used in a proportion of 3% and 10%, respectively. This acid also increased substantially in the epidermis. Furthermore, the active ingredient led to an increase in the density of the collagen fibre network in the dermis. As a result, the ingredient has a firming effect while promoting deep moisturizing and a feeling of smoothness of the skin.
