Germany-based companies Henry Lamotte and Dr. Straetmans, France-based Greentech and Italy-based Indena were carefully selected to be exclusively represented by Beraca in Brazil.

The 31% growth recorded by Beraca in 2013 is due in large part to the increase in business with its international partners. “We anticipate further growth for 2014, with the approval of new active ingredients and the increase in sales of products already distributed by Beraca in Brazil,” says Juliana Frutuoso, account manager of Beraca’s Health & Personal Care division. “The argan oil manufactured by Henry Lamotte, for instance, recorded an increase of 80% in sales in the first quarter 2014, compared to the same period in 2013.

Dr. Straetmans’ lines Dermosoft and Dermofeel are among the main responsible for Beraca’s growth last year.

Natural and sustainable solutions

Sustainability is the key word of these partnerships. "Consumers are increasingly more concerned about the impact of their actions and buying options. Beraca acts synergistically with its various stakeholders, bringing together local suppliers and global companies interested in offering products made by natural raw materials with proven efficacy and organic certification,” says Ulisses Sabará, president of Beraca.

Those who take on leadership roles in Brazil and worldwide are more aware that the road that leads to preservation, social and environmental development is irreversible, necessary and intelligent, but it is costly,” he adds.
