"Green" and "natural" cosmetics are now much more than a trend for the cosmetics industry, they are increasingly present in the lives of Brazilians. Addressing this demand, exhibitors at the next in-cosmetics Brazil trade show, which will take place on September 30 and 01 October 2015 in Sao Paulo, will showcase their very latest environmental friendly cosmetic ingredients.

For example, TRI-K Industries used the oligopeptide technology to develop a unique and multifunctional bioactive protecting the skin from photo-damage. The Baobab Tein NPNF is an exotic ingredient derived from baobab, an iconic African tree, also called "tree of life", which usually lives more than 2,000 years.

In vitro and in vivo tests have found that Baobab Tein NPNF protects the skin from the stress caused by UV rays, limits photoageing and significantly strengthens the barrier function to protect and retain moisture. Furthermore, the health of the DNA was recovered substantially after exposure to UV rays, restricting the double-strand break (DSBs, its acronym in English) and the formation of lesions that accelerate aging.

The company Natural Plant Product - NPP and Focus Química will present two pure oils with high content in C20 - C22, for hair care. The material has a high oxidative stability, provides great conditioning to the hair, decreases frizz, non-greasy sensory and beautiful shine to the hair strands.

Evonik will launch Tego Betain P 50 C (INCI: Cocamidopropyl betaine), a concentrated surfactant based on RSPO certificated palm kernel oil. Thanks to its thickness, it provides a cost / improved performance compared to standard CAPBs.

This raw material has high purity and supports an environmentally conscious approach in the cosmetics industry.Tego Betain P 50 C is a suitable ingredient for a wide range of application formats including liquid soaps, shampoos, bubble baths, oral hygiene products and bar soaps.

The Italian company Kalichem will present a new generation of surfactants and emulsifiers from vegetable origin. The products are eco-friendly, highly biodegradable, derived from olive oil and compatible with skin and hair.

Eventually, Eco Oil Argentina, a company exclusively dedicated to the production, processing and marketing of natural jojoba oil, will present at in-cosmetics Brazil the Organic Jojoba Oil, a top quality product made with certified organic ingredients.
