Pharmapele: A moisturizing soap with soothing and antioxidant ingredients

Pharmapele, a network of pharmacies with 28 years of experience in customized medicines and cosmetics and 60 stores throughout Brazil, recently launched a new moisturizing facial soap with Coffee Skin and Lactokine.

According to the company, the ingredients help to strengthen the skin barrier. "The product features ingredients derived from coffee and milk, with antioxidant, soothing, anti-inflammatory and rejuvenating properties," explains Luisa Saldanha, technical director.

"Coffee Skin is a natural antioxidant, which boosts protection against free radicals, as well as being rich in caffeine and organic silicon, with a decongestant, anti-inflammatory and anti-glycation action. Lactokine is a smart active ingredient responsible for modulating skin defense mechanisms, thus enhancing the balance of cellular functions," she adds.

Pharmapele’s Sabonete Hidratante (Moisturizing Soap) has a pH of 5.5, and is applied on the skin in a circular motion and then rinsed. Indicated for mixed skins, it can be used twice a day. The company claims the soap guarantees the reduction of oiliness and impurities due to pollution and external factors, but without damaging the protective layer of the skin.
