Make-up: Why Brazil is a market of its own?

We know that all indicators are green concerning the development of the make‐up industry in Brazil. However this market is far from being simple!

Consumption habits, culture, climate are many factors that influence Brazilian women in their approach to their beauty look:

- Too much make-up and you’ll quickly be tagged as a caricature of a “circus clown”.
- Mat reigns supreme in this country.
- The boundary between make-up and skin care is extremely narrow to Brazilians.

But never before, certainly, the fact of putting make-up will have evolved so much over the last few years. Why? How? What are the market’s underlying trends?

All these topics will be discussed on December 3 in the afternoon during a round table at MakeUp in SaoPaulo, which will bring together speakers from both Brazilian brands and suppliers, including:

- Mirele Martinez, Make‐up and Accessories Group Leader, MakeB (Group O Boticàrio);
- Vanessa Christine Machado, Product Manager, quem disse berenice;
- Nazish Munchenbach, Marketing and Sales Manager, Granado.

On the “suppliers” industry side, to note the presence of:

- Thomas Weckerle, CEO of the Weckerle company;
- Vincent Groccia, COO of the TopLine company;
- Lourenço Piteli, Sales Manager at Faber Castell do Brasil;
- Otto Thellmann, International Sales Director at Oxygen Development;
- Angelica Bekanich, VP Commercial Operations at Intercos America,
- Eric Fresnel, CEO of Sleever International,
- and Amaury de Menthière, CEO of Geka.

A round table not to be missed! Save the date: December 3, 2014 at 04:45 p.m.
