Kate Spade signs global license agreement with Interparfums

Paris-headquartered fragrance creator and marketer Interparfums has entered into an 11-year exclusive worldwide fragrance license agreement with fashion and lifestyle brand Kate Spade New York.

Interparfums will create, produce and distribute new perfumes and fragrance-related products,” for Kate Spade New York, states the company in a release. Interparfums plans to distribute these fragrances globally to department and specialty stores and dutyfree shops, as well as in Kate Spade New York retail stores beginning in fall 2020.

This new partnership will help us “to take our global business to the next level,” she adds.

Founded in 1982, Interparfums is already the exclusive worldwide licensee for fragrances and cosmetics of Abercrombie & Fitch, Anna Sui, Boucheron, Coach, Dunhill, Graff, GUESS, Hollister, Jimmy Choo, Karl Lagerfeld, Lily Aldridge, Kate Spade, Montblanc, Oscar de la Renta, Paul Smith, Repetto, S.T. Dupont and Van Cleef & Arpels. Interparfums is also the owner of Lanvin fragrances and the Rochas brand. The company’s products are sold in over 100 countries.

Last year, Interparfums achieved a total turnover of 455 million euros (+ 8%).
