in-cosmetics Latin America to take place this week

The in-cosmetics Latin America trade show, the only e Latin American exhibition exclusively dedicated to personal care ingredients, will promote innovation in ingredients and technologies recently launched in Brazil and the international market.

"We bring together brands from all over the world: 54% of exhibiting companies come from Brazil, 14% from Asia, 10% from the Americas, 22% from Europe. This edition, which takes place on 5 and 6 October, at the Expo Center Norte, will bring together 3,500 professionals who will have the opportunity to get information on more than a thousand products from over 20 countries," says Daniel Zanetti, director of in-cosmetics Latin America.

What’s new in 2016?

For the first time in-cosmetics Latin America will host a Formulation Lab, a 100% functional laboratory fitted with equipment that will allow experts to give "life" to the ingredients of exhibitors by formulating and testing products. The initiative targets technical professionals involved in Research and Development.

The Marketing Trends trends free seminars will cover topics such as consumer insights and market trends for cosmetic products in Brazil and other markets. Among the speakers are companies such as Factor-Kline, Euromonitor, Mintel, IPCS – Institute of Personal Care Science.

The year, the Innovation Seminars, focusing on new raw materials, are split over two lecture theatres over the 2 days of the fair, and give visitors access to the latest items and technical presentations of the most recent products presented by the exhibitors at in-cosmetics.

In the Sensorial Workshop visitors will have the opportunity to interact with the participating companies, such as Dow & Dow Corning, Brasquim and Croda, and to check the differences between functional ingredients.

The industry’s most important innovation entity, the ITEHPEC - Institute of Toiletries, Fragrance and Cosmetics Technology and Studies - will conduct the workshop “Cosmetics 4.0 – the Future of Beauty”, covering scientific and regulatory issues in the CT&F area. On the first day, the debates will explore issues such as biodiversity and the effectiveness of natural assets. On the second day, the workshop presents the theme "New Frontiers of Cosmetic Science." Attended by representatives of companies such as Boticário and Senal Group.

in-cosmetics Latin America brings together 17 of the 20 world’s top suppliers of raw materials, including BASF, Dow Corning, Croda, Ashland and Solvay, as well as large national companies such as Chemyunion, Oxiteno and Beraca, who will present their products to more than 3500 visitors, including the 10 largest personal care manufacturers in Latin America.
