Drogaria Iguatemi creates an augmented reality platform

Drogaria Iguatemi has just launched the autumn edition of its DI magazine that completely differs from previous editions. In order to bring a new and sophisticated experience to customers, thanks to a partnership with Blippar, an app that can be downloaded on the App Store and Google Play, readers have access to exclusive magazine content in augmented reality, which also gives them the possibility to purchase products. The content includes videos, explanations on how to apply products sold in the store, photo galleries, and various topics related to fashion, beauty, trends and styles, thus bringing more interactivity to the content.

"We want to improve our customers’ purchasing experience. Our magazine, which for over 15 years has been showcasing the most innovative, modern, technological and sophisticated wellbeing and beauty products, has become much more than a magazine, but a platform for interactivity and purchase", explains Leonardo Diniz Jorge, Associate Marketing and New Business Development of Grupo DI, which has stores in Iguatemi, Iguatemi Campinas, Market Place, Alphaville, JK Iguatemi and Galleria Shopping, as well as Shopping Village Mall, with the Discover store.

The initiative is part of Grupo DI’s expansion strategy, which this year relaunched its online store, Nuspace.
