Dow appoints a new director for consumer markets in Latin America

Fine chemicals supplier Dow has named Flávia Venturoli Pettená as its new director for consumer markets in Latin America.

In this role, she is responsible for the management and commercial strategy including clients, services and growth in the Home and Personal Care, Pharma, Food & Medical and Perfomance Silicones markets. All these businesses are part of Dow’s consumer products portfolio.

Mrs Venturol started its professional career 16 years ago and has experience in the areas of communications, marketing, sales and supply chain. Before taking up the new post, she was the director of Public Affairs & Government Affairs for Latin America at Dow. Flávia holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Federal University of Bahia, and an Executive MBA from the University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
