Brazil’s green cosmetics market to be highlighted at the Vivaness in Nuremberg, Germany

Chemyunion will participate in the next edition of Vivaness, the international trade fair for natural and organic cosmetics, and BioFach, the World´s leading trade fair for organic food, to present Brazil’s green innovation and the market opportunities for natural and organic personal care products in the country. Both events take place simultaneously in Nuremberg, Germany, between February 13 and 16, expecting thousands of visitors from more than 130 countries.

Through a consolidated partnership between Vivaness and Brazilian fair FCE Cosmetique, Chemyunion’s Marketing Director Sérgio Gonçalves, will participate in a conference session during the event, speaking about green innovation in Brazil: and market opportunities for organic and natural personal care products.

Brazil is the 4th global consumer market for personal care products and one of the countries with the highest biodiversity on the planet. "Presenting business opportunities for green cosmetics and the development of green innovations in a challenging scenario is the contribution that this presentation intends to offer during Vivaness," says Sérgio Gonçalves, reinforcing the country’s strength in the green cosmetics field.

According to data from Chemyunion, in the last five years, products with natural concepts accounted for about 28% of all personal care launches in the world. In this context, Brazil takes the 12th position in the top 20 of global markets. Another important point is Brazil’s potential to develop green products, since it has the world’s most diversified biological resources, being a rich source for developments, strong enough to be among the top 5 in green innovation in the near future.

The use of technologies and raw materials of plant origin are at the core of Chemyunion’s innovation processes, which will also be one of the exhibitors of the next edition of FCE Cosmetique on 21-23 May 2019. More than 80% of products available in the company’s portfolio come from or have green components.

Victoria’s Secret or the failure of a conservative positioning?

When the Victoria’s Secret show was cancelled it didn’t come as a surprise.
