Belleza y Salud takes on an international reach

The 2017 edition of Belleza y Salud, one of the main events for the beauty sector in South America, hosted more than 370 exhibitors. The show, which took place in Bogotá from 27th to 29th September 2017, welcomed more than 56.000 visitors — compared to 279 exhibitors and 55.000 visitors last year.

International reach

The 2017 edition debuted the collaboration of Bologna Fiere Cosmoprof as international sales agent in support of CORFERIAS, the organizer of the event.

As a result, Belleza y Salud hosted for the first time a pavilion entirely dedicated to beauty exhibitors worldwide, the “International Hall - powered by Cosmoprof”, with over 1,200 square meters of exhibition space and specific initiatives for distributors and retailers. B2B meetings were organized with both South American buyers interested in networking with leaders in the cosmetics industry, and with distributors ready to offer local companies new opportunities in European, Asian and North American markets.

Exhibitors in the International Hall included companies such as: Antica Erboristeria (Italy), Beautystreams (USA), Dongguan Fumeikang Electrical Technology (China), Eagle Fortress Hair Products Factory (China), Foreo (Sweden), Globalcos (Italy), Ivy Enterprises/Kiss (USA), Lizhi Packing (China), Myosotis (Italy), My Perfumes (UAE), Ningbo Beiming Furniture (China), Nutraluxe MD & Pulsaderm (USA), Packmax Packing (USA), Rudy Profumi (Italy), Swiss Arabian Perfumes Group (UAE), Turbo Power (USA), Ultimate Creations / Infinite Aloe USA (USA), Yu-Xiao Plastic (China), Yuyao Jingyi Plastic Industrial (China).

Thanks to the collaboration with the Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna network, the exhibition attracted the professional world at an international level, with a significant increase in the participation of buyers and companies from non-South-American countries,” claimed Bologna Fiere Cosmoprof in a release.
