SPA Express: A franchise for itinerant beauty services

SPA Express, a company specialising in itinerant aesthetics and beauty services, including cosmetic, manicure and pedicure procedures performed in the comfort of the customer’s home, has just launched the campaign "Get out of crisis with the SPA Express", which aims to attract would-be entrepreneurs eager to transform the current f economic downturn in Brazil into an opportunity to innovate and relaunch their career, despite the difficulties.

"Despite the crisis, growth of the franchise sector remains positive. In the first quarter of 2015 it recorded a 9.2% growth, compared to the same period last year, according to ABF (the Brazilian Franchising Association),” said the company.

With home office administration and thus low investment cost, the franchise consists of itinerant services in the beauty sector, including manicure, facial and body aesthetic treatments at home (SPA Home) - and in the waiting rooms of partnering doctors (SPA Med).

Self-employment now represents 19.5% of all occupations in Brazil’s main cities - its highest level in eight years, according to the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE).
