Swedish cosmetics maker Oriflame could enter the United States and Brazil within a few years, its chief executive officer Magnus Brännström said in an interview with Helena Soderpalm of Reuters.

The direct-sales beauty company is currently selling in more than 60 countries worldwide. Its largest market today is Russia but the company’s business in this country has been negatively impacted by recent political and economic events. According to Brännström, Asian countries are likely to account for a major share of Oriflame’s sales in the long term, with China or India probably becoming its largest single market.

However Oriflame’s CEO also sees opportunities in the U.S.A and in Brazil, even though both markets require significant resources. "That could go pretty fast," Brännström told Reuters.
