Natura will open two stores in Rio in April

After having inaugurated its first physical points of sale in São Paulo, Natura will open its own stores in Rio de Janeiro in April in two major shopping malls, BarraShopping and Bossa Nova Mall.

With two tables, a sink and a series of mirrors, the two new spaces of 82 m2 and 57 m2, respectively, will aim at stimulating product experimentation. The project was designed by architect Ricardo Campos, from the Santa Irreverência agency. "The use of demolition wood and LED lighting reinforces the company’s commitment to sustainability," the company explains.

Rio will be the second state where the Brazilian cosmetics giant opens its own stores. Natura entered in the brick-and-mortar retail business in 2016 with a model designed to complement direct sales. The company already opened five stores in São Paulo, also located in some of the city’s main shopping malls.

The stores offer a portfolio of around 500 products in the perfumery, body, face, makeup, children’s and gift product categories. In addition, some Natura products are already available in drugstore chains such as Raia Drogasil, Drogaria São Paulo, Pacheco and Panvel Farmácias.
