MWV launches new pump-on-a-tube Amplify

Global packaging company MeadWestvaco Corporation (MWV), a global leader in packaging and packaging solutions, recently launched a new addition to its skincare dispensing portfolio: Amplify.

The solution represents MWV’s leadership in creating dispensing solutions that enhance the consumer experience in the beauty and personal care industry.

Using findings from its recent Skincare Research & Insights Study, MWV developed Amplify to address consumer pain points and deliver the positive experience consumers want each time they interact with their favorite skincare product. This type of enhanced experience fosters deep emotional connections and brand loyalty, leading to repeat purchases. “Consumers today expect more at every price point, and the distinctions among mass, masstige and luxury products are shifting,” said Kevin Clark, president, MWV Home & Beauty. “At MWV, we have embraced this shift through the idea that every product tier can have a more premium feel. It’s no longer reserved for high-end beauty products. With Amplify, we have created a pump designed for the right value that still enhances the consumer experience with the brand and product.

Amplify is an airless solution that combines the convenience of a pump-on-a-tube with the protection and soft actuation of the company’s patented Rolling Bellow engine technology. This makes it ideal for skincare products and provides brands and consumers with comfortable, easy delivery; consistent and controlled dispensing; product protection; and a convenient, on-the-go experience.
