Grupo Boticário anticipates another year of expansion in 2017

Brazilian cosmetics giant Grupo Boticário - which controls the brands O Boticário, Eudora, quem disse, berenice? and The Beauty Box, plans to open 100 more units in 2017, a number equivalent to 2016, said the company’s CEO, Artur Grynbaum, on the occasion of the Latam Retail Show in São Paulo. So far this year, the group has already opened 44 new points of sale, Grynbaum added.

Last May, Grupo Boticário announced a 7.5 percent increase in revenues in 2016, to BRL 11.4 billion (USD 3,6 billion). The company closed the period with a total of 4,063 points of sale for its four brands. In addition, the group exports its products in eight other countries. Having entered Colombia about two years ago, Grupo Boticário recently entered Costa Rica.
