Focused on innovation and sustainability, Oxiteno brings its solutions to the U.S.

In order to consolidate its global position, Oxiteno has been investing in the United States, the world’s largest surfactants market. The Brazilian multinational will participate in the annual convention of the American Cleaning Institute (ACI). The event will take place from January 26 to 31 in Orlando, U.S., and bring together the world’s largest and most influential companies in the sector.

To address sustainability needs

Innovation in sustainability has transformed the habits of consumers throughout the world. The race to develop products with higher less impact on the environment and society, has already begun. However, in addition to their sustainable footprint, the products must also deliver performance and convenience.

In response, Oxiteno created the Greenformance concept, which drives innovation and the development of products and applications to create solutions that combine sustainability and superior performance. Currently, 20% of raw materials used by Oxiteno come from renewable sources and 35% of all products use renewable ingredients.

North American factory

Oxiteno, a leading manufacturer of surfactants and specialty chemicals in Latin America, began operating in the United States through the acquisition of an industrial unit in Texas, one of the most important global hubs for chemical production. Oxiteno manufactures surfactants and specialty products in the U.S., providing solutions for the Personal Care, Home Care and I&I, Agrochemicals, Paints & Coatings, Automotive and Food segments. The commercial office serves clients in both the United States and Canada.
