Flora Cosmética invests in the makeup market with the launch of an exclusive line for the Vale Verde pharmacy, located in Londrina, in Paraná, in the south of the country.
During the last five years, the makeup and nail varnish segment grew at an average rate of 15.6% in Brazil. For the next five years, this segment is expected to grow by 11.8% annually.
Founded in 2002, Flora Cosmética already offers shampoos, soaps, creams, deodorants, moisturizing masks, and various other products for the health and beauty of the body. The brand is now entering into the makeup category with blushes and lipsticks with the aim of conquering an even bigger consumer base in the city and region.
According to Eliane Rodrigues, the brand’s administrative assistant, Flora Cosmética has been looking for alternatives to enhance its expansion. "We worked on special products dedicated to vain and dynamic women and our new makeup line brings them exactly what they want: sophisticated, yet easy-to-apply products that bring benefits in the first use with colours matching the latest trends and offering an excellent pigmentation," said Eliane.
The line, the name of which has not yet been revealed, will be launched on March 3 at the Vale Verde Pharmacy of the Catuaí Shopping mall in Londrina and will feature compact powders, three shades of blushes, a bronzer, seven lipstick colours (two creamy lipsticks and five super matte), eyeliners, a palette of eyeshadows, and six types of brushes and a nécessaire. The products will be priced from R$ 13.90 to R$ 39.
