Representing an investment of about R$ 4 million (about USD 1.1 million or EUR 1.0 million), the new centre is part of a five-year plan to meet the growing demands of the company’s customers, both in Brazil and throughout Latin America.

Located near Croda’s plant in Campinas and close to Viracopos International Airport, the new distribution centre centralizes Croda’s entire logistics operations, providing improved support to the company’s customers through more efficient processes and reduced response time.

"The new distribution centre complies with the most stringent national and international quality standards in this sector, regarding storage of products but also transport - both for goods reception and expedition," says the company.

The new centre was designed and built with the aim to reduce the environmental impact of the facility. These environmental investments include an intelligent LED lighting system that can detect human movements and thus reduce energy consumption.

"This five-year investment plan is a crucial part of Croda’s strategy to be increasingly aligned with the needs of our customers, to leverage our continued focus on innovation and to enhance our integration within the Latin America market as well as the relationship with our customers," said Marco Carmini, Managing Director, Croda Latin America.
