Capsum adds colours to its new generation of cosmetic pearls

With the new EmotiPearl series of pearls, Capsum intends to move another step forward in the encapsulation of cosmetic actives.

Indeed, the French company specialising in the encapsulation of active hydrophilic and lipophilic fluids perfected its manufacturing process in order to create dual coloured pearls, featuring custom design. “Every combination is possible, from adding a discreet gold thread, to creating a pearl resembling a moon -half white, half dark- to a crescent moon on the pearl’s face,” claims Capsum.

The colours of the EmotiPearl can be fully customized thus enlarging storytelling options to allow a brand to express its truest identity.

A part from the new features, the EmotiPearl retain all of the characteristics of traditional microfluidic pearls:

- A liquid core, which concentrates and protects the active ingredients by keeping them separated from the rest of the formula until application. This core can be aqueous-based, oil-based or both.
- Custom-made inner core and pearl surface colors to perfect branding needs.
- Exceptional restitution with no residue upon application, thanks to patented packaging specifically developed for the pearl SerOms.
- New gestures and rituals created to innovate in the way to use beauty pearls, allowing to rupture or dissolve the pearl membrane during the cosmetic ritual (Mix-it formulas & tea-bag applicators).
