Brazilian exhibitors meet success at in-cosmetics 2016

Eight Brazilian companies participated in the latest edition of in-cosmetics, the world’s largest international fair for personal care and perfumery ingredients, which as held from 12 to 14 April 2016 in Paris, France. The in-cosmetics trade fair brought together around 780 exhibitors from over 40 countries and attracted more than 9,700 visitors, including finished product manufacturers, distributors, consultants and fragrance companies.

Most Brazilian exhibitors participated within a national pavilion organized by Beautycare Brazil - a partnership between ABIHPEC (the Brazilian Association of Toiletries, Perfumes and Cosmetics) and Apex-Brazil (the Brazilian Agency for Export and Investment Promotion) - with the support of the Embassy of Brazil in France.

Companies participating in the Brazilian pavilion included Allergisa, AQIA, Atina Natural Assets, Assessa, Citróleo, Nanovetores, Plantuş and Pure Kemika Brazil. According to data provided by ABIHPEC, participants had more than 1,100 business contacts mainly with representatives from European and Asian companies. Exhibitors expect these contacts will be converted into more than US$ 9.8 million in business within the next 12 months.

Considering the success of their participation in the fair this year, all the eight companies already said Beautycare Brazil they intend to return to in-cosmetics in 2017. "Participation in the event is a great opportunity to enlarge the visibility of Brazilian products and further boosting sale within the personal care ingredients sector," said Gueisa Silvério, Project manager at Beautycare Brazil.
