The Brazilian Health Surveillance Agency (Agência Nacional de Vigilância Sanitária, ANVISA) has suspended, on Friday (4th of July), the sale and use of the product "Millenium Ink Tatoo", which is intended for permanent artificial skin pigmentation (tattoo). ANVISA found an excessive amount of formaldehyde in the "Lisse Cream" product. Furthermore, the manufacturer did not have the required Enterprise Operating Permit (Autorização de Funcionamento de Empresa - AFE).
